TERMS & CONDITIONS

These are the Terms and Conditions that apply to Daughter of Earth Retreat bookings. Please read them carefully. By booking this retreat with Daughter of Earth, you agree to be bound by these agreements.

BOOKING AND PAYMENTS

  • All persons booking the retreat must carefully read and under the Terms & Conditions that follow.

  • Those who wish to register must be at least 18 years of age or older.

  • To secure your place on the retreat, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.

  • Full payment is due by March 15, 2025. A late fee of 3% of remainder balance will be applied if not recieved by March 15, 2025.

  • Payments can be made through Zelle, Venmo or PayPal.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • We understand that your plans made be affected by unexpected events. Any cancellation must be written in writing via email and be acknowleged by Daughter of Earth in writing via email.

  • Daughter of Earth reserves the right to cancel the retreat for any reason but will not cancel 30 days or less before the retreat start date except in the case of an unforeseen circumstance outside of our control in which in this case the client, you, would be refunded of all payments made as soon as possible.

  • Deposits are non-refundable and required to secure your booking.

  • All remaining payments become non-refundable less than 60 days before the retreat start date.

TRAVEL AND AIRFARE

  • Daughter of Earth does not include national or international airfare. We encourage you to wait for confirmation of the retreat booking before making any non-refundable travel arrangements including airfaire.

  • The client acknowledges that the price of the retreat does not include travel insurance and is encouraged to obtain separately.

  • The client accepts responsibility for obtaining passports, visas, certificates if required and responsible for any adverse consequences resulting from missing documentation.

  • Any advice on travel given by Daughter of Earth Retreat organizers is purely advisory, provided as a courtsey and is not responsible for any errors or omissions as to the information provided by third parties such as the appropriate governmental authorities.

PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from the retreat location except the transportation that is provided.

  • Participants must inform the retreat organizers of any medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements in advance.

  • Participants must inform the retreat organizers of any complaints against True Nature Retreat or its organizers to a facilitator/retreat leader at the earliest opportunity to rectify the matter. Not expressing dissatisfaction during the retreat may diminish the client's ability to seek compensation from True Nature Retreat. If satisfaction is not achieved during the retreat, any subsequent complaints must be submitted in writing to angel@thedaughterofearth.com within 30 days of the trip's conclusion.

  • Participants are expected to adhere to the schedule, guidelines, and rules set by the retreat organizers.

PROGRAM CHANGES

  • The retreat organizers reserve the right to make changes to the program, schedule, or accommodations due to weather, road conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.

  • Participants will be notified of any significant changes as soon as possible.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

  • Participants are responsible for their own health and safety during the retreat.

  • The retreat organizers are not liable for any injuries, illnesses, or other health issues that may arise during the retreat.

  • The retreat is generally suitable for individuals who are healthy and moderately fit. If a participant has a medical or other condition that could impact the enjoyment of the trip, it must be communicated at the time of booking. Any changes in your health or fitness before the trip must be promptly reported to the organizers before the retreat begins.

  • Participants must recognize that the retreat involves a level of adventure and personal risk. By participating, the participant assumes all such risks and releases True Nature retreat and it’s partners from any claims or actions arising from damages, injuries, or death resulting from these inherent risks.

LIABILITY

  • Daughter of Earth and their organizers are not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property during the retreat.

  • Participants are encouraged to obtain travel insurance covering health, travel, and personal belongings.

CODE OF CONDUCT

  • Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and considerate manner towards fellow participants, staff, and the retreat location.

  • Any disruptive or inappropriate behavior such as in our opinion, If Client’s actions pose a threat to the safety of them, others, or to the wildlife, or if that Client’s actions or behaviors are seriously jeopardizing the enjoyment of the trip for others may result in the participant being asked to leave the retreat, with no refund provided.

MEDIA RELEASE

  • Participants may be photographed or filmed during the retreat for promotional purposes. By attending the retreat, participants grant permission for their likeness to be used in promotional materials including website, all social media platforms.

  • Clients can specifically request to the photographer or in writing to our organizers, to not use any material their image is depicted in.

  • If not specified by the above, Daughter of Earth is granted an everlasting, royalty-free, global, and irrevocable license to utilize these images for promotional and publicity purposes.

DATA PROTECTION:

  • Daughter of Earth requires and may share clients' personal information, including names, addresses, special needs, health conditions, dietary requirements, etc., with outfitters, guides, or suppliers involved in the retreat. We ensure the application of security measures to protect this data and only share relevant information with those responsible for the retreat. Clients provide consent for this information transfer by booking the retreat.

FORCE MAJEURE:

  • Daughter of Earth retreat organizers are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or other unforeseen circumstances.

    TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  • Daughter of Earth reserves the right to update and/or alter these terms and conditions at any time, and it is the Client’s responsibility to be familiar with them. The latest terms and conditions may be found on our website.

  • By booking a spot on a Daughter of Earth Retreat, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
